All Out For St Mark’s – The Club is in full swing

By all reports the first All Out for St Mark’s event, afternoon tea at Brown’s Old English Tea Room in Mayfair, on the 16th December, was a great success!
All Out members and Foundation team members enjoyed a relaxed afternoon together, getting to know one another and sharing the one thing we all have in common, a love for St Mark’s Hospital and a desire to create a world free from the fear of bowel disease, through innovative medical research and clinical treatment.

A highlight of the afternoon for Anthony Cummings, Executive Director of St Mark’s Hospital Foundation, was listening to All Out members sharing their experiences and recollections of the leading surgeons and doctors they have known, with some members being able to reflect back over 60 years at St Mark’s!

For Anthony, who has been with St Mark’s Hospital Foundation for less than 5 years, the conversation of All Out Members provided him with deep insights and previously unknown facts that explains why St Mark’s Hospital is in a class of its own.

A all out sarticlecouple attending the afternoon tea summed up the feeling for everyone:

“ Browns Hotel was wonderful, great company, great food and great ambience—we thoroughly enjoyed it. We look forward to receiving the date of the next event”.
