Trusts and Foundations

Charitable trusts and foundations contribute essential funds to research, education and training at St. Mark’s.

Research, training and education at St Mark’s Hospital have greatly benefitted from the funding awarded by charitable trusts and foundations. We are grateful for the support we receive from trusts and foundations and for the opportunities we have to develop long-term relationships, which we greatly value.

Charitable trusts and foundations enable St Mark’s to:

  • Undertake basic research that is improving our understanding of the causes of gastrointestinal diseases.
  • Undertake translational research that is improving the lives of patients with complex bowel diseases right now.
  • Invest in specialist medical equipment, such as the Da Vinci Xi surgical robot, that has the potential to improve the survival and health-related quality of life of our patients.

If you would like to support life-restoring research at St Mark’s Hospital, please contact Ms Riyah Talati riyah.talati@nhs.net

Awarding a grant to St Mark’s Hospital Foundation marks the beginning of your relationship with the charity and the doctors benefitting from your funding.

Continued support from charitable trusts and foundations will be essential if we are to realise our vision of a future free from the fear of bowel disease.

Thank you in advance for considering our work for support.
