James Wong recently retired after a 38‑year career with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC), where he specialised in transaction and accounting advisory services within the Financial Services sector.

Born and raised in New Zealand, James built an international career that took him across Europe, North America, and Asia. Although based primarily in London, he spent five years on secondment in New York from 2014 to 2019 where he supported (and continues to support) Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center’s fundraising efforts.

He also serves as a Trustee of both Plan Zheroes (dealing with surplus food collection ad distribution) and The Friends of Victoria University of Wellington.

James holds a Bachelor of Commerce & Administration from Victoria University of Wellington and is a member of Chartered Accountants, Australia & New Zealand.
