I have been a patient at St Mark’s Hospital for 27 years with almost 20 years on TPN and, with many long and short stay admissions, have received the most amazing care from all the staff . I planned a holiday to Sydney Australia with the amazing help of St Mark’s Hospital, that without their help would never have been possible.
St Mark’s patient
Unfortunately I became very ill with septicaemia while I was there and was admitted to North Shore Hospital, Sydney. It was a frightening experience being the other side of the world, without all those familiar faces from St Mark’s to care for me.
Without hesitation Dr Simon Gabe and consultant nurse Mia Small liaised with the team at North Shore Hospital. Knowing that I had my team from St Mark’s Hospital looking after me was amazing and helped me and my family through a very difficult time.
Life go’s on
I just want to say a huge thank you to all the wonderful staff at St Mark’s Hospital for always being there for me on a day-to-day basis and pulling me through some of the toughest times of my life.
Janet has supported St Mark’s Hospital Foundation in a number of ways and has become a valued supporter of ours. Demonstrating that the incredible work carried out by the medical team is part of a cycle of positivity.
