Contributing your time at one of our fundraising events or initatives is the perfect way to make a huge difference
The Foundation is always looking to recruit volunteers, and there are several community events that are run throughout the year where the help of volunteers is required to ensure that fundraising is a success.
- Information stall at Harrow Fireworks 2019
- Seasonal gift wrapping in Harrow town centre and Intu Watford
- Supermarket collections
- Seasonal charity collections at London underground stations
In addition to the aforementioned volunteering opportunities, if you are able to regularly commit time to volunteering on a weekly or fortnightly basis, there is the chance to volunteer on the information desk.

For any students wishing to volunteer, this is an excellent addition to your UCAS statement because it shows dedication and an engagement in activities outside of academia.
Lastly, if you are a sixth-form or University student undertaking the Duke of Edinburgh Award you can volunteer for the Foundation and we can sign off this section of the award.
New for 2019!
In conjunction with the benefits listed above, volunteers will receive a certificate in recognition of the number of hours spent volunteering on the information desk.
Those who volunteer at community events who will be presented with congratulatory certificates.
Finally, the Foundation is busy planning for Volunteers Week 2020 to further show gratitude to our fantastic volunteers.
